If you don’t know what CrossFit is then read through our explanation on “What is CrossFit?”

After doing a little research into CrossFit you may have come across a variety of information, which may have raised some questions. The best way to answer these questions is to attend our “Foundations” classes, which is offered to new members.

What the “Foundations” class provides

The “Foundations” class will provide you with the essential foundation of all movements and lifts that you will need to grow at Catawba Valley CrossFit. This class is designed for all people, regardless of level of fitness or athletic experience. Whether you worked out yesterday or sometime 3 years ago, you will be provided with everything you need for CrossFit. While working closely with our trainers, you will learn the fundamentals of a proper warm-up and cool-down and proper body mechanics for all essential lifts and movements. No experience is required for our Foundations class!

In addition to movements and mechanics, you will also be provided with nutrition and dietary guidance to truly optimize your fitness experience at CrossFit Catawba Valley!

The “Foundations” class meets three times per week over a two week period. Class sizes are kept small so our trainers can provide you with the attention you’ll need to move safely, competently, and confidently.

Following the “Foundations” class you will be able to sign up as a member and take regular classes! There you will continue your growth in the world of CrossFit and become a more confident, stronger, and healthier you!
